Introduction to Incident Management Course
The Introduction to Incident Management Course is a one day introductory and awareness course designed for professionals who have minimal or no prior experience within emergency and incident management. Participants will be introduced to underpinning principles, processes and functions of incident control systems. The course is ideal for those who provide a support capacity to those who undertake specific roles within incidents. The course is led by a facilitator in a workshop style and includes theory, use of case studies, group work and activities. There are no pre-requisites for this course.
This course is not nationally accredited training. It is suitable for individuals and organisations who do not require accredited training, formal assessments or a certificate for Statement of Attainment. Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance. It is a cost-effective but valuable alternative to accredited training courses in emergency and incident management.

Level 1 and Level 2 Incident Management and Incident Controller Training Courses (non-accredited versions)

The Incident Controller Training course can also be delivered over 1-2 days depending on whether an exercise scenario is included in the training. This means shorter training days, no formal assessments are required, no formal enrolment processes are required and also a much more cost-effective option is provided. Non-accredited training courses are suitable for those organisations where:
