Level 1 Incident Management Course
This course has been developed for personnel who may be required to perform a role within emergency management and be informed of incident management underpinning principles and concepts. The underpinning knowledge and concepts of incident management, such as AIIMS (Australasian Inter-Service Incident Management System), will be a focus of the course.
This course comprises one nationally recognised unit of competency:
PUAEMR038 Work within an emergency management context
This unit applies to people who are undertaking, or are preparing to work in, an emergency management role within their organisation and/or local community and require a broad knowledge of emergency management frameworks within differing jurisdictions. Please note this course supersedes the previous unit of PUAEMR018 Work in an emergency management context.
The duration of this training course is 2 consecutive days in a classroom delivery (face-to-face) for in-class component. Please note there will be a number of assessments which will need to be completed in-class and post course.
