FAQs for Training Courses
1. Are your courses and qualifications nationally recognised? Yes, FutureWest Institute is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO: 41184) and we specialise in developing, delivering and assessing nationally recognised training and qualifications.
2. What are the cost of the courses? Please contact us for a customised, in-house delivery course cost.
3. What requirements do I need to attend the course? Please refer to the Learner Handbook for each relevant course to determine if there are any pre-requisites for the courses. We do advise that learners wanting to complete our nationally recognised training are mature aged students who have emergency management responsibilities within their workplace or volunteer role. Additionally, learners also need to be mature aged students who have completed secondary schooling and/or completed other qualifications.
4. Can you provide a quote for onsite, in house delivery for organisations? Absolutely, please contact us to discuss your training requirements. We will then provide you a formal quote and upon acceptance, we will develop a training agreement with you.
5. Can you deliver training courses in every State and Territory in Australia? Yes, we can. Please contact us to discuss your training requirements.
6. What post course assessments are required? Our customised and flexible courses are designed for those professionals who have some experience in the general workplace. All our courses require post course assessments to be completed and submitted after the training course delivery. You will not receive a Statement of Attainment by simply turning up and attending a course. All details regarding in-class and post-course assessments are contained in the relevant Learner Handbooks for each course.
7. Are you an approved provider for VET Student Loans? No.
8. What is your policy on complaints and appeals? We are committed to ensuring all learners have a positive learning experience. If you have any concerns or issues, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can also view our Policy on Complaints and Appeals here.
9. Do you provide RPL with your courses? Yes, we do. However, please bear in mind that we do not offer RPL based solely on your CV. Our RPL kits require you, not us, to complete an extensive process with provision of evidence to ensure the recognition of prior learning for each of the listed competencies as stated in the relevant units.
10. Is distance learning for me? Distance learning is an ideal way to study for those who wish to fit their studies in and around their work and familial commitments. It is not for everyone as it comes with its own challenges. However, if you are an independent and motivated learner who wish to study at their own pace, then this is an alternative to the in-class option.
